*Did You Know?*
Monticello is home to the Oldest African-American Masonic Lodge in the State of Florida. Established in 1868, Solomon Lodge #6 was created by the Prince Hall Free and Accepted Masons who had established themselves in Jefferson County. You can find this piece of history at 650 Henry Street, just East of the Roseland Cemetery in town.
