City Planner

The City Planner is responsible for reviewing all development matters within the city. 

• Prepares agendas and takes minutes for the Monticello Planning Agency
• Prepares agendas and takes minutes for the Historic Design Review Board
• Guides the future growth of the city
• Reviews and makes suggestions to City Council regarding changes and updates to the Code of Ordinances
• Enforces the Code of Ordinances within the city limits

We are currently seeking a new city Planner, as our planner was awarded the position of City Manager.
