The Monticello Firefighters’ Pension Plan Board and the Monticello Police Pension Plan Board will meet on September 23, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. to adopt a budget for fiscal year 2015-2016 and to review an investment returns and asset allocation report for years 2010 through 2014. 

The meeting will take place at the Monticello Police Department, 195 S. Mulberry Street, Monticello, Florida.






City of Monticello Utilities Department is seeking applications for Class C Water/Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator


Duties included Waste water plant: Daily operation of a 800mgd oxidation ditch, weekly sampling, plant maintenance , SCADA operations, Daily Monitoring reports, operation of a Non public access reuse system, Cl2 systems operation and repair, basic electrical trouble shooting, residuals handling, rotating weekend plant checks, and good communication skills.


Duties included Water Plant operations: Operate and maintain 3 City potable water wells, 3 elevated storage tanks, monthly route and plant sampling including tri-annuals, lead and coopers, stage 2 D/DBPR sampling and reports, Monthly Operating Reports, operation and maintenance records, plant safety programs, and meet requirements of state and federal government regulatory agencies, and rotating weekend plant operations.
